WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY VEHICLE IS DAMAGED BY HAIL?

   Call and report the claim to the insurance company ASAP.

  Make appointment to have an insurance adjuster estimate damage and issue payment to you giving you control over the repair not the insurance company.

WHAT SHOULD I LOOK FOR WHEN CHOOSING A PDR COMPANY FOR MY REPAIRS?

That is a very good question. Some of the things that we feel are extremely important here at Nationwide are a well established company with years of time tested experience and an outstanding reputation. A  lifetime warranty, strong customer service skills, and we feel like the most important thing is to get you and your car back on the road as quickly and safely as possible. We hope  to earn your business and the business of your friends and family for years to come.

If it sounds to good to be true it probably is. We work directly off of the insurance estimate making sure that all the damage is repaired properly and giving you the best professional repairs that you deserve, and that we are known for.

WHAT YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY DOESN’T TELL YOU:

What if I decide to keep the insurance check and not repair my vehicle? Should something ever happen to the areas they paid to repair, and you did not repair them, the insurance company may deduct the amount previously paid to repair the hail damage from your second claim. That check may look nice now but if you leased your vehicle it is in your contract that you are responsible for all damage and if you turn it back in with hail damage you will have to pay for it out of pocket. If you trade in your vehicle you may only recieve half or less of the actual value.

A restriction for "unrepaired damage" may be  in effect on your insurance policy.



DO I HAVE TO USE THE DIRECT REPAIR BODY SHOP THE INSURANCE COMPANY RECOMMENDED?

No. By law you have the right to take your car to the shop of your choosing. Just because an insurance company pushes a repair facility at you doesn't mean that there repairs are any better or that they have a better warranty than Nationwide Hail Repair. In fact 95% or more of the repairs taken to bodyshops or dealerships, etc. are outsourced to companies like Nationwide Hail Repair. It is just not feasible for these shops to keep PDR technicians on staff.

DO I HAVE TO PAY MY DEDUCTIBLE?

Nationwide Hail Repair has a DEDUCTIBLE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM that may be  right for you. At Nationwide hail repair we strive to keep our costs down so that we can pass on the savings to you our customer.
 

IF I LEAVE THE DENTS ALONE, WILL THE HEAT FROM THE SUN EVENTUALLY BRING THE DENTS BACK OUT ON THEIR OWN?

No. The dents must removed manually by hand using specially designed tools.

WHAT ABOUT USING DRY ICE?

No. Trying this may actually crack your paint because of the extreme temperature change to the painted surface, leaving bare metal exposed to rust.

HOW MUCH TIME DO I HAVE TO MAKE A CLAIM?

We suggest that you make your claim as soon as possible. Most insurance companies have catastrophe teams that come to the area to help expedite the claims process.


HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO GET MY VEHICLE REPAIRED?

Insurance checks are usually good for approxiamately  3 to 6 months.
